Project Description: |
Seniors age 65 and over is the fastest growing population in the City of Miramar, with the over 85 years of age is the fastest growing subset in that population. The City of Miramar's Senior Center provides a number of necessary services to this population, including primary health care services, transportation, health and wellness programs, recreation and counseling services. The center also offers intergenerational programs and support groups. Funds for this project will assist in providing these services to the target population. |
