Project Description:
Our mission is to feed the hungry by utilizing fishery resources through a seafood inmate training program.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Our long term goal is to be awarded enough funding. This program and partnership with local prisons will be enhanced by having another facility to be used as a haven for qualified prison inmates to come to upon their release. At this phase they can continue on with their training and education in different facets of the seafood industry and actualy be paid a minimum wage. This program will last from three to six months dependent upon their progress, qualifications and prospective job openings and oportunities. Corporate sponsors will be established as partners with Fish for Life to help secure jobs with the hope of a new and fresh beginning. This program enables them to become an asset to thenmselves, their families, and a benefit to society.
