Project Description:
This CIBR incorporates three supplemental restoration projects in support of the Lake Okeechobee Protection Plan (LOPP), Lake Okeechobee and Estuary Recovery (LOER) and the LOPA.The three projects include (1) the expansion of water storage and treatment on public, private, and Tribal Lands; (2) the replacement and rehabilitation of three PL-566 structures along Taylor Creek to enhance the LOER fast-track project on Taylor Creek; and (3) the creation of an urban water storage and treatment facility adjacent to Lemkin Creek serving the City of Okeechobee.
