Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Hurricanes Jeanne & Francis brought a significant amount of rainfall that threatened to collapse a berm located on the east side of Blue Cove Lake. If this berm does collapse, there could catastrophic damage to all the homes located between the berm and the Rainbow River. In addition, an outfall exists on the West side of the lake which takes untreated Stormwater from S.R. 45. Treatment of this Stormwater would greatly reduce the amount of pollutants entering into the Lake.
