| Project Description: |
| Construction of a new wastewater reclamation facility in the County. Will provide capacity for new housing and economic development activities while mitigating current failing watewater systems. WIll further mitigate possible impacts on impaired water bodies located in DeSoto County. (Shell Prairie Creek Water Management Plan (Headwaters)/Peace River-SWIM waterbody. Located within the SWFWMD's SWUCA. County intends to incorporate reuse capabilities in the plan in effort to maximize water conservation efforts in this critical part of the State. |
