| Project Description: |
| Funding is requested to renovate the Charlotte County Historic Courthouse located within the City Limits of PUnta Gorda. This project is intended to house Appellate and Circuit Court operations in completely and authentically restored Court Rooms. Upon completion, it is planned to house regional historic archives in addition to a Judicial History Center and County Office space. |

| Completion of the restoration project as well as occuplancy by a court functions in a historically important building as soon as possible. The entire project is expected to take four years to complete. The requested funds will provide funding for the early phase of design, permitting and construction start up. |
