| Project Description: |
| Diabetic Plus is a not-for-profit organization specializing in diabetes information, treatment, and supplies. The goals of this organization are to educate those with diabetes and their caregivers about the benefits of daily treatment and management; to participate in major events and speaking opportunities to increase awareness among young people and their caregivers about the prevalence and risk of diabetes, and provide adults and children information booklets, brochures and FAQ sheets, for personal use and distribution. |

| Increase the awareness and education level of adults and children throughout Florida about the causes and treatments of diabetes. The measurable outcome will include, but is not limited to, increased diabetes testing, a decline in the number of individuals diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes each year, and an increase in public awareness about Type 1 & 2 diabetes |
