Project Description:
Construction of the first phase of a 1.75-mile arterial road providing access to a proposed $50 million convention center and a 4-star hotel complex with a signature restaurant, near the nexus of I-4 & I-95. At the northern end of the road is the new, state-of-the-art, $219.8 million Florida Hospital. The first phase will construct a 1,400-foot section of the road. The second phase will complete the remaining length of the roadway. The right of way is being donated for the project.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The economic impact of this project will be in the hundreds of millions of dollars since it would open up land for hotel, office and industrial development. The �spin off� businesses and jobs created would directly affect communities in Volusia, Flagler and Seminole counties. Right of way for the road is being donated by business interests in the area.
