Project Description:
This second phase of the City of Homestead�s Flood Control Project is essential in terms of protection against rainstorms and weather events of recurring frequency. It involves installing and upgrading storm drainage systems throughout the City of Homestead as identified in the Stormwater Master Plan. (Phase one was previously awarded by the State.)

This project will provide adequate stormwater management throughout the City of Homestead and reduce standing water to facilitate access for rescue vehicles, pedestrian use and ensure continuity of services during and after a storm event.
