Statewide Interest:
Located in rural area of Critical Economic Concern, the project will meet health and safety protection not only of those living in Okeechobee County but for the State visitors and special protection for the cross state evacuation routes of those that are evcacuating into the trouogh Okeechobee County. This project will also provide for an adequate water supply for the SFWMD Lemkin Creek Urban stormwater area. Will assist in lowering TMDL's.

Project Description:
Provide an addidtional foot print expansion to the Lemkin Creek Urban Stormwater Facility that will provide for the required pre-treatment prior to allowing tsorm-water rn-off to enter waters of the State (Lake Okeechobee); add appropriaste structures and pumps.

Prevention of blockage from flooding to major cross-state evacuation routes. Stormwater protection to residents and visitors in the Okeechobee area. Additional water supply for SFWMD STA. Reduction of nutrients when supply is conveyed to SFWMD STA. Lowering of TMDL's.
