Project Description:
Florida-based high school juniors will be selected based on academic merit and previous mathematics courses for a seven week, two course, summer program at Embry-Riddle Aeornautical University designed to motivate and encourage their decision towards a career in mathematics, science, or engineering. The summer program awards six hours of dual high school and college credit at the successful completion of the program. Students will also be mentored and advised by faculty, enjoy course-based field trips, have access to laboratories, and interact with college students in related career paths.

100 Florida high school students will be awarded 6 credit hours applicable to both their high school and college requirements. Students will attend a Florida university to major in mathematics, science or engineering, and remain in Florida for a career in mathematics, science or engineering.
