| Project Description: |
| Construction of a wastewater treatment facility, including collection, transmission & disposal system to provide wastewater service to commercial & residential development within the town service area. A partnership between Nestle Waters North America, Inc has been formed to provide wastewater to community & to pay 50% of total project cost to assist town & encourage economic development. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| DOH has advised the town of numerous wells that are contaminated with e-coli east of the town, which is the direction of the natural water flow. Development of a WWTP & collection system will alleviate contamination of the aquifer. In addition, Nestle Waters would have the capability to increase its production which would create additional jobs for the area. As Madison county has an unemployment rate of 5.4 and an area of economic concern. This project could reasonably have a two-fold effect by eliminating a health issue and being an economic stimulus. |
