Project Description:
Funding would be used for design and construction of a stormwater utility, through the purchase of land for stormwater retention. The project will be for the utilization of private development interests within an economic enterprise zone. Cost of the stormwater land and maintenance would be pro-rated to utility users.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Would facilitate the joint use of limited land resources, permitting urban infill in an area which is in need of economic development. Would pro-rate the costs of land, construction, and maintenance to developers. This Stormwater Regional Detention Pond would be a partial solution to flooding in the Duck Pond watershed which is identified in the Local Mitigation Strategy.
