Padgett Park is named for and dedicated to Walton County�s Tim Padgett, Army Sgt. who was the first soldier from Walton County to die in Afghanistan and the current war. |

| We are requesting financial assistance to develop a 15,000 square foot community recreation center and 4 tennis courts. The development of the Padgett Park Recreation Center and Tennis Courts would provide a community gathering place in Walton Town Center, a walkable community development. Currently there are no public tennis courts in the southern portion of Walton County. Public recreation and meeting space does not exist in this region at this time. Padgett Park is named for and dedicated to Walton County�s Tim Padgett, Army Sgt. who was the first soldier from Walton County to die in Afghanistan and the current war. |
