Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The facility will also work in conjunction with the proposed weir/control structures for Manual's Branch and Carrel Canal upstream of Royal Palm Avenue to attenuate and enhance water quality of stormwater flows from those portions of the watersheds encompassing the Fowler commercial corridor and easterly industrial areas. This will further improve the overall water quality and attenuate flows downstream so as to reduce the peaking effects of past urbanization and storm sewering practices.
