Project Description:
The City of Gretna's waste water plant as the result of the 384 Bed Gadsden Correctional Facility will be within 5000 gallon of the 350,000 gallon per day design capacity. As required by Florida Administrative Code the City must now expand the facility. The City desires to design and build an expanded waste water facility capable of treating at least 1 million Gallons per day.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
To build a facility capable of treating at least 1.5 million gallons per day at advance waste water treatment level to provide regional waste water services. To provide adequately treated reclaimed water to supply 3 area plant nurseries with water for farming purposes, thereby minimizing or eliminating the need to use ground water. To provide waste water services to the Highway 12 Interstate 10 intersection to support economic development for the region.
