Project Description:
The one year program enable students who hold baccalaureate degrees in other fields-including foreign educated MDs- to complete the requirements for the BSN in three semesters.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (2004), 1,000,000 new and replacement nurses will be needed in the US by 2010. The State of Florida is particularly vulnerable. By supporting UM�s request, the State will increase the number of well-educated, highly motivated nursing professionals prepared to provide quality care. The request will provide full support to 50 Accelerated BSN students. In return, graduates will provide up to 24-months of work service from each student
