Project Description:
The project is a multi-level Independent Living/Life Skills/Life Enrichment/Job Readiness Program that provides independent living, high school/GED, job readiness training, help in finding and maintaining jobs, , budgeting/wise money management, positive interaction, leadership, and teamwork. Youth learn resume writing, processing job applications, and interviewing skills. The program is dedicated to ensuring that these "at promise" youth have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures towards being self-sustaining, productive, and independent individuals.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
(1) 80% of youth will learn life and job readiness skills to be better prepared for social interaction, interpersonal communications, employment, and independence. (2) 80% of youth will attend school or G.E.D. classes to earn their diploma or equivalency, gain employment, and increase health and life skills necessary to improve their future and provide opportunities for themselves. (3) 70% will have improved mental and physical health and living conditions. (4) 50% of youth discharged will leave for a stable living environment, e.g., family reunification, transitional housing, independent living, placement facility, etc.
