The purpose of this Community Budget Request is to construct sewer mains to serve the anticipated development in the newly annexed areas of the City. These sewer mains will allow for the orderly development of this area and permit Miami-Dade County to more effectively and efficiently service adjacent areas by decreasing our demands on the county�s transmission system and providing sewer service to these areas much sooner than anticipated by Miami-Dade County.

The project entails the construction of sewer mains including the associated piping and related appurtenances like master meters and manholes.

Insures the full and orderly development of the newly annexed areas of the City. Decreases the need for Miami-Dade County to invest fully on the upgrade of their transmission system servicing these areas and allows for the increase tax base of the city resulting from new development.
