Project Description:
Upgrading existing food distribution operations to include installation of a generator and improvements to refrigeration systems at Daily Bread Food Bank's main warehouse. The warehouse is the primary distribution center for food to over 700 agencies - with 18 million pounds distributed annually. Also, a primary food distribution site during and after hurricanes, providing food to a 4 county area

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
1) Increase in the amount of refrigerated food product, including produce, meats, etc. available to those in need in the community; 2) Elimination of any power related disruption of food distribution activities - particularly those conducted before and after hurricanes. 3) Increased efficiency in storage and distribution of food to member agencies serving those in need in a four county region of more than 7 million residents
