| Project Description: |
| The Jacksonville 5000 Role Model Program is a Mentoring Program for at-risk students from pre-k through 12th grade, designed to improve academic performance, reduce crime and provide role models in every aspect of their life to help improve the lives of less fortunate students.
The program will utilize role models, mentors and tutors to work with pre-school, elementary, middle and senior high school students to help them with any and every aspect of their lives where assistance is needed.
This project is modeled after the very successful 5000 Role Model Program in exisitence in South Florida.
The program will use the donated class room space, facilities and utulities of public schools on Duval County. |
