This project addresses health and safety issues locally and regionally as effluent discharge into the Intracoastal Waterway is detrimental to the environment. Reconstruction of the WWTP will provide for cleaner effluent and the reuse project will dramatically reduce effluent discharge.

Project Description:
Construction of new wastewater facility; effluent violations of the WWTP will be eliminated along with Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT) reduction of effluent in Intracoastal Waterway, A Class III water.
