Project Description:
Construct a facility to house Goodwill Industries in Broward County that will be located in the Broward Enterprise Zone and Community Redevelopment Area (CRA)in an economically challenged area of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The facility will be utilized to provide rehabilitation, training and employment to at least 400 people with disabilities on a daily basis and used to annually place at least 500 people into competitive employment in Broward County-thus creating at least $6.1 million in new earnings on an annual basis for previously unemployed people with disabilities.
