| Jackson Health System and Shands HealthCare are Florida's largest STATEWIDE charity care providers. Florida's large uninsured population is growing rapidly. Jackson and Shands request a $30,213,021 indigent care appropriation to assist tem with their rising cost of providing 25% of the Florida charity care. |
