Project Description:
The estimate of $300,000 per lane mile for this project reflects Holmes County�s request for $1,110,000 to resurface 3.7 lane miles. CR 183A has become an extremely heavily trafficked thoroughfare from Holmes County to the adjoining county. CR 183A has pavement deterioration, cracking, rutting and has not been resurfaced in more than 15 years. The FDOT resurfaces state roads every 15 years due to age creating safety hazards to the citizens traveling these roadways.
