Project Description: |
This program will continue to provide post CSU residential treatment, for a period of two to three months, and facilitate stabilization sufficient to find transitional housing. It is a critical component for individuals with serious mental illness and a co-occuring substance abuse problems who often end up homeless or in the criminal justice system without proper treatment. These individuals frequently have significant functional deficits that make a short-term residential treatment program necessary before they can achieve long-term stability. |
