The ultimate goal is to allow the elderly in our community to age in a place and with dignity thus preventing nursing home placement for over 90% of the clients receiving services. |

| Project Description: |
| The program provides hot meals at senior centers, home delivered meals, transportation, shopping assistance, education and other supportive services to low income elderly. The current funding is used to run two and-congregate meals sites which provide over 84,000 meals, transportation, education, recreation and other supportive services to over 300 low income elderly. These funds are also used to provide approximately 400 low income home bound seniors with a home delivered meal six days a week.
