| Project Description: |
| Foster Care Review is a volunteer-based organization that provides child welfare system oversight by conducting judicial reviews of dependent children pursuant to Florida Statutes 39.701 and the federal Child Abuse Protection and Treatment Act. FCR also reviews the cases of older youth to ensure their preparation for adult living. Further, FCR is partnering with Chapin Hall Center for Children to monitor the effectiveness of community based care for Miami-Dade, Monroe and Broward County. |
