Workers' Compensation Insurance Purchasing Alliance.
627.990 Workers' Compensation Insurance Purchasing Alliance.--The Workers' Compensation Insurance Purchasing Alliance is created within the Department of Insurance to act as a broker between small employers, as defined in s. 627.6699, and insurance underwriters who specialize in workers' compensation. The alliance shall be operated as a state-chartered nonprofit organization pursuant to chapter 617.
