Licensure by examination.
459.006 Licensure by examination.--Any person desiring to be licensed by examination shall:
(1) Have successfully completed a resident internship of not less than 12 months in a hospital approved for this purpose by the Board of Trustees of the American Osteopathic Association or any other internship program approved by the board upon a showing of good cause by the applicant. This requirement may be waived for applicants who matriculated in a college of osteopathic medicine during or before 1948.
(2) Be a graduate of a college recognized and approved by the American Osteopathic Association.
(3) No more than 5 years prior to application, have obtained a passing score, as established by rule of the board, on all parts of the examination conducted by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners or other examination given and administered by the board.
(4) Meet all of the requirements of s. 459.0055.
