Section 655.943, Florida Statutes 2000

655.943  Applications; verification.--All information required by the financial institutions codes or rule of the department to be furnished in conjunction with applications to form, acquire or acquire assets of, merge, or change control of a financial institution must be verified by the department by all reasonable means available. The department shall conduct a detailed review of all financial information provided by an applicant, including a review of assets totaling 5 percent or more of the applicant's net worth.
