Committee recommendations.
—In its report on a state agency, the committee shall:
Make recommendations on the abolition, continuation, or reorganization of each state agency and its advisory committees and on the need for the performance of the functions of the agency and its advisory committees.
Make recommendations on the consolidation, transfer, or reorganization of programs within state agencies not under review when the programs duplicate functions performed in agencies under review.
Propose legislation necessary to carry out the committee’s recommendations under paragraph (a) or paragraph (b).
In its report on a state agency, the joint committee shall:
Make recommendations on the abolition, continuation, or reorganization of each state agency and its advisory committees and on the need for the performance of the functions of the agency and its advisory committees. If the committee recommends continuation or reorganization, the committee shall include in its recommendations the report of the Small Business Regulatory Advisory Council, as provided in s. 288.7001, regarding the rules of each agency.
Make recommendations on the consolidation, transfer, or reorganization of programs within state agencies not under review when the programs duplicate functions performed in agencies under review.
