Disposal of personal property lost or abandoned on university or community college campuses; disposition of proceeds from sale.

(1)

Whenever any lost or abandoned personal property shall be found on a campus of an institution in the State University System or a campus of a state-supported community college, the president of the institution or the president’s designee shall take charge of the property and make a record of the date such property was found.
