¹467.005  Authority to make rules.--The department is authorized to promulgate such rules not inconsistent with law as may be necessary to carry out the duties and authority conferred on the department by this chapter and as may be necessary to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. The rules shall include, but not be limited to, the allowable scope of midwifery practice regarding use of equipment, procedures, and medication.
