SB 2298: Water Resource Management

GENERAL BILL by Laurent

Water Resource Management; (THIS BILL IS COMBINED IN CS/S312,2298) provides legislative policy re state & regional water resource management; encourages use of water from sources nearest area of need; provides exception; clarifies legislative intent that water resource development is function of WMDs; requires additional information in permit applications for proposed transport & use of water pursuant to certain provisions, etc. Amends Ch. 373; reenacts 373.536(5)(c).
