SB 2296: HMOs/Patient Continuity of Care
GENERAL BILL by Sullivan
HMOs/Patient Continuity of Care; prohibits contracts between health maintenance provider & provider of health care services from containing certain restrictions; requires such organizations to provide subscriber continued access to treating provider terminated by said organization; provides limitations; prescribes specific circumstances in which treatment may continue, etc. Amends 641.315,.51.
