HB 4247: Jeff Mitchell Act
GENERAL BILL by Crady
Jeff Mitchell Act; creates said act; provides that judgment of conviction & sentence of death imposed in capital case are not subject to being held invalid, overturned, reduced, or otherwise affected because codefendant in same case accepted plea offer in exchange for trial testimony, or agreement to testify, & was not sentenced to death; provides aggravating circumstances; provides applicability, etc. Amends 921.141.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
