CS/HB 899: Vessels/Boats & Boating
GENERAL BILL by Civil Justice & Claims ; Barreiro ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Murman ; Saunders
Vessels/Boats & Boating; authorizes counties & municipalities to enact public service rates for towing vessels in same manner as rates for towing vehicles; creates definition of "undocumented vessel"; creates noncriminal infraction for overloaded & overpowered vessels; creates procedure for liens for towing & storage charges on undocumented vessels in same manner as currently permitted for vehicles; revises definition of "vehicle", etc. Amends Chs. 125, 166, 327, 713, 715.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
