SB 1178: Children/Prearrest Diversion Program

GENERAL BILL by Silver

Children/Prearrest Diversion Program; authorizes law enforcement agency or school district to establish prearrest diversion program in cooperation with state attorney; provides that child may be required to surrender his or her driver's license under program; authorizes state attorney to notify HSMV to suspend driver's license of child who fails to comply with requirements of prearrest diversion program. Creates 985.3065.
