CS/SB 1238: Health Maintenance Contracts
GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Brown-Waite
Health Maintenance Contracts; revises procedures & standards for rate changes made by organization; deletes current provisions that allow rate changes to be implemented immediately upon filing with Insurance Dept., subject to disapproval; requires rate changes to be filed with department specified time period prior to use; provides that filing is deemed approved after certain time period absent affirmative approval or disapproval by department; makes conforming changes. Amends FS.
