GENERAL BILL by Dyer
Victim Assistance; requires Legal Affairs Dept. re powers & duties under Fla. Crimes Compensation Act to have criminal history record check performed through Fla. Crime Info. Center system on any victim or other claimant on whose behalf award is sought under that act; provides that person who has criminal history of having committed felony in this state, or misdemeanor in this state within 10 years of seeking award, is ineligible for award, etc. Amends Ch. 960.
