Year of the River/Year 2000; recognizes year from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2000 as The Year of the River re Chattahoochee & Apalachicola; encourages Floridians & visitors to Fla. in areas surrounding Chattahoochee & Apalachicola Rivers to participate in activities to develop recreational, tourism, & economic potential of these resources in coordination with states of Georgia & Alabama.
