CS/HB 1523: Information Technology Resources

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Hart

Information Technology Resources; creates "Commerce Protection Act"; prescribes exclusive remedies against persons, businesses, & governmental agencies for damages caused by failure of their information technology resources to function properly re date data; prescribes & limits damages; prescribes conditions precedent to maintaining or defending actions; prescribes alternative dispute-resolution procedures; provides for severability, etc. Repeals 282.4045.
