SB 1618: Correctional Work Programs
GENERAL BILL by Klein
Correctional Work Programs; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/S1604,1618) requires that DOC periodically evaluate its vocational education programs; prohibits DOC from assigning inmate to certain correctional work programs unless inmate has high school diploma or general educational development certificate; revises requirements for assigning inmates to said program operated by private business, etc. Amends Ch. 946, 944.801.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
