GENERAL BILL by Saunders
Physicians/Patient Choice; allows subscribers to certain health plans to select their physician; prohibits denial of payment to such health care providers selected; provides reimbursement criteria; provides penalties; limits liability for payment for HMO subscribers; revises membership of statewide provider & subscriber assistance panel; provides responsibilities for HMO medical directors re adverse determinations re subscribers. Amends Chs. 408, 627, 641.
