GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Campbell

Money Transmitters' Code; redefines term "money transmitter"; provides additional grounds for disciplinary action by Banking & Finance Dept.; provides additional grounds for denial of registration as money transmitter; creates "Deferred Presentment Act"; prohibits person from engaging in business of deferred presentment transactions unless person is registered under code & pays certain fees; provides disclosure requirements, etc. Amends Ch 560. APPROPRIATION: $150,000.
