GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Clary ; Saunders

Managed Health Care; (THIS BILL COMBINES S2472,1892) requires AHCA to publish HMO report cards; revises notice requirements for cancellation or nonrenewal of group health insurance policy; revises time limits for employee or group member to apply for converted contract from HMO; requires that HMOs provide additional information to AHCA indicating quality of care; clarifies that state may recover & retain damages in excess of Medicaid payments, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $1,439,000.
