CS/SB 2538: Affordable Housing
GENERAL BILL by Comprehensive Planning, Local and Military Affairs ; Jones
Affordable Housing; authorizes any county that is designated as area of critical state concern & that levies tourist impact tax to use specified percentage of local government infrastructure surtax for purpose of constructing affordable housing; provides for future repeal of such provision; amends provision re distribution of moneys from Local Govt. Housing TF to provide for any such county to receive increased percentage of funds, etc. Amends Chs. 212, 420.
