GENERAL BILL by Commerce and Economic Opportunities ; Bronson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sebesta ; Mitchell ; KURTH ; Kirkpatrick
Commercial Space Industry; exempts certain spaceports from provision of law re approval of airport sites & licensing airports; provides for development of spaceport master plan; authorizes Spaceport Florida Authority to apply for international trade grants; creates Florida Commercial Space Financing Corporation; creates Spaceport Management Council within Spaceport Florida Authority; provides that cargo carriers are exempt from ad valorem taxes, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $1,500,000.
