GENERAL BILL by Detert ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Byrd ; Miller
Election Protests & Contests; revises provisions re timeframes for filing election protests & requests for manual recounts; eliminates protests of election returns in circuit court; revises timeframe for filing contest of election; specifies grounds authorized for contesting election; codifies that jurisdiction to hear contest of election of member to either house of Legislature is vested in applicable house in accordance with its rules, etc. Amends Ch. 102.
